A Glass Winged Creature
I always find butterfly a fascinating creature. It symbolizes so many things but I mostly see it as a symbol of something delicate, gentle and humble.
Despite me being a night owl person, I would like to be a symbol of gentleness too. That was the inspiration for this artwork.
As I explored new mediums in art, I came across a very common material in art which was color pencils.
I've had color pencils many times in my life and yet I never used it to do artworks.
I used the infamous Faber Castle 24 color palette color pencil which can be commonly bought at your regular bookstore.
Peach Skies
I admire the afternoon skies as much as I admire the moonlight and the darkness of dawn.
I envisioned a peach colored sky as an ending to a very happy day as I made this artwork.
It was indeed a happy day that made me want to transfer this expression and feelings to paper using color pencils.
I was unable to finish it due to reasons but I am very to determined to get back at this artwork.
The Cheshire Cat
I've always been fascinated by Alice in Wonderland's concept of the Cheshire Cat.
The inspiration for this was solely Cheshire cat which was misleading, mysterious Cheshire cat.
A character that has similar characteristics to me as a night owl person.
I definitely would like to create another artwork with a Cheshire cat concept meets the night owl.
I used ink to create this artwork from the signature stamps that was used for office papers and stuff.
