NIGHT OWL

ART

Let's discover everything under the moonlight.

Art has always been a part of my life. Sketching, Drawing, Painting, Singing, Dancing and many more.

Ever since I was 5 years old, my mom and dad would always see me messing with paper and pencil, whether be it arts and crafts or just plain drawing they encouraged me keep on doing so, thus, making art a very important part of my life.

As I grew up, everything changed. As much as I wanted to carry on various art forms, my time was limited. As I grew my skills, my access to good materials became limited. As I grew up, everything changed. As much I didn't like being limited, I had to limit my art form to just sketches, paintings, drawings.

I found creativity, solace and inspiration usually at times where most people are asleep.

To every night owl person out there who understands, I hope you can shower me with ideas and inspirations for my next artworks. As a night owl person myself, I always draw inspiration in the deepest hours of the night and what better outcome would you expect if a community of night owls work on artwork?

A recreation of Salvador Dali's Soft Self-Portrait. One of this night owl's artworks using coffee painting.

My recreation of Salvador Dali's Soft Self- Portrait.

I used the idea of coffee painting and tried to recreate a surrealism master's painting.

The concept of the physical skin being offered away is a concept that speaks to my soul.

I always try to expand the medium that I use when it comes to art. When I was young I always just use painting and pencil as my medium.

As time passed by, I learned that trying out new medium in art is very refreshing.

This is my first artwork using a new medium which is color pencil.

I wanted to try and capture the variation of hues in objects of what most people think are just single colors.

I've drawn this inspiration during the deepest hours of the night. I've included this is in the night owl blog to showcase a different medium that I used for art.
A sketch of my glassess as I like sketching from time to time.

As a night owl person, I have issues with my sleeping pattern which I found fascinating and at the same time frustrating.

Thus, resulting to me being unable to finish artworks and other stuff.

A good conversation under the moonlight and a night owl buddy might just motivate me to finish another artwork.

Won't you help me?

As busy as I am, I still try to find space for my creativity and just try to sketch every now and then.

I remember sketching this just before a job interview because it took the whole day to get to me.

I wanted to stop worrying over the interview and sketched instead using a pen and a scratch

Unfinished artworks from the night owl art page. It takes a lot of inspiration and vision to finish an artwork.

Favorite Modern Artists

I didn't have any favorite artist back then and I recently just realized that I idolized without actually knowing who they are or what they use for medium in art.

However, when I did realize, I immediately got connected to them through social media sites, specifically through Instagram.

Check their Instagram feed below:

Humid Peach is an artist from Russia who uses different art mediums and her subject is mostly a human being.

Mjart on Instagram is also a phenomenal artist for me. He is a digital artist which I would also like to learn.

Check his profile on Instagram:

Jenny is also another artist I admire. Her canvas is individuals. She is a tattoo artist and yet what she makes are artworks on a different canvas.

Look at her profile:
